  • What is neurotoxin?
Neurotoxin, commonly referred to as the brand name Botox, works by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the muscles, reducing muscle activity. This leads to a temporary relaxation of the treated muscles, which can decrease wrinkles and fine lines. Brands carried at Blk N Wyt are Xeomin and Dysport.
  • How long does neurotoxin last?
The effects of neurotoxin are temporary and typically last 3 to 4 months. The duration can vary from person to person.
  • How do dermal fillers work?
Dermal fillers work by adding volume to the treated area. Made up of hyaluronic acid, they can plump up sagging skin, fill in wrinkles, and enhance facial features by restoring lost volume. Fillers can be used to treat various areas, including the lips, cheeks, marionette lines, and jawline.
  • How long do dermal fillers last?
The duration of results can vary depending on the type of filler used and individual factors. On average, hyaluronic acid fillers may last from 6 to 18 months.
  • What is the downtime after a filler treatment?
Most people can resume normal activities immediately after dermal filler injections. Some temporary swelling and/or bruising may occur for 2 weeks, so be sure to plan accordingly.
  • Can I receive neurotoxin or dermal filler treatment if I am pregnant?
No, we do not treat patients with filler or neurotoxins who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • What happens during a consultation?
During your consultation, we will discuss areas of your face that you would like to address. This includes facial anatomy and symmetry, treatment recommendations, and expected outcomes. This is done to customize each treatment uniquely to each patient’s needs.
  • What is your weight loss program?
In addition to its use for diabetes, Semaglutide has been approved to help with weight loss. At Blk N Wyt, we offer a 16-week membership program to help you reach your weight loss goals. It is not a standalone solution, but rather a tool to support weight loss in conjunction with lifestyle changes. For more information, schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation, today!
